Important Water Safety Note

The water from the well pump on Remington Road and from the spring pipe is not safe to drink.  Both water sources have tested positive for Fecal Coliforms, which can cause illness.  The water can be made drinkable through various treatments, such as boiling, filtering or the addition of iodine or chlorine bleach.

Signs have been posted at both locations and the Association is exploring ways to correct this situation.

General Meeting June 12th 2011

General Membership meeting will be Sunday June 12th at 1 PM at the Picnic Pavilion by Spring Pond.  Meeting time is 1 pm and check-in begins at noon.  We will be voting on 3 new Board members and we are still looking for more people to run for the board.

June Membership meeting -- Board Elections

The next meeting of the General membership will be held in June of 2011 in Fairplay.  This will be the last June meeting, as approved by the recent policy and procedure changes.  3 positions on the board of directors will be up for election at this meeting.   If you would like to run for the board,  Please contact any member of the current board with your name, contact information and any information about yourself that you would like included in the Spring Newsletter.

ByLaw Changes Approved

The policy and procedure changes dated Jan 30, 2011 were approved at the general membership meeting by a vote of 200 for (YES) and 36 against (NO).   Click here to view the new ByLaws inclusive of these changes.

Annual Owner Report / E-Mail Signup

The association is required to submit a summary of all subdivisions that have wells to the State Water Commission each year.

Please submit this this form with your dues payment.  You can also use the form to sign up to receive correspondence via e-mail instead of regular mail.  This will help conserve resources and save your association time and money.

Board Votes to Amend By-Laws

The By-Law changes allow for one newsletter and General Meeting per year, and to allow members to receive correspondence by e-mail.  View the proposed By-Laws, or just the changes to the current By-Laws.  If you cannot attend the Jan meeting, please vote by mailing in a Proxy formProxies must be received no later than Jan 18, 2011.
