The Buffalo Subdivision was formed in 1973 and consists of 975 independently owned lots with an average size of 2 acres, situated in Park County, Colorado located approximately between the towns of Como and Hartsel.  Restrictions are kept to a minimum while keeping a constant focus on the property owner's right to enjoy his or her property in attractive surroundings free of nuisances, undue noise, and danger. All members of the subdivision are also members of the Buffalo Owners Association, or BOA.

Vandalism

Vandalism

"This is why we can't have nice things"
Damage like this costs the whole community time and money.
If you don't like it, LEAVE IT. Thanks to the rest of you for respecting the community.

What does this even mean? The vandal seems to have a lot of time and not a lot of brain cells.
Any information about this should be reported to the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thank you for looking after your community.

Lone tree spring pond project

Bradley Norton spearheaded the Lone tree spring pond project.
With Rick Eastlund digging out years of old pond/swamp grass.

The project consisted of piping the water from the Lone tree spring directly into the pond.

As the swamp grows, dies, then grows again, it builds itself higher and higher, blocking the natural flow of the water from the spring to the pond. A new channel was trenched in two sections to get water actually flowing, and 400’ of PVC pipe was laid and buried to help raise the water level in the pond. The work was successful and raised the water in the pond over a foot in the first two days.

You must be signed in to vote

You can also PAY YOUR DUES now
We also need your annual property/Well questionnaire returned to us before the General Meeting On January 31st

Dues increase

Starting with 2025, dues will be $50 per lot. This small increase will help the association stay current with the raising cost associated with it's upkeep.
The dues for the BOA have not increased since the association was founded way back in1973! $50 is still the cheapest association fee you will see these days.
