Vandalism

Vandalism

"This is why we can't have nice things"
Damage like this costs the whole community time and money.
If you don't like it, LEAVE IT. Thanks to the rest of you for respecting the community.

What does this even mean? The vandal seems to have a lot of time and not a lot of brain cells.

Code Enforcement

Last Updated: 30 December 2025

Most code enforcement is the county responsibility. The board can only do so much. If you have an issue that you believe warrants enforcement, besides brining it to the attention of the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., you should fill out the Park County Code Enforcement Online Complaint Form.

This is something that should be done vigilantly. Their responsiveness has been somewhat lax in the past, but with this new form, and hopefully  new accountability, they may answer owners concerns more readily. There is a lot more information about Code enforcement on the Park County Web Site

Lone tree spring pond project

Last Updated: 30 December 2025
Bradley Norton spearheaded the Lone tree spring pond project.
With Rick Eastlund digging out years of old pond/swamp grass.

The project consisted of piping the water from the Lone tree spring directly into the pond.

As the swamp grows, dies, then grows again, it builds itself higher and higher, blocking the natural flow of the water from the spring to the pond. A new channel was trenched in two sections to get water actually flowing, and 400’ of PVC pipe was laid and buried to help raise the water level in the pond. The work was successful and raised the water in the pond over a foot in the first two days.
